Tenuta Papale is an agricultural company that has been dedicating itself with passion to the cultivation of vineyards and olive groves for over a century,trying to combine tradition and innovation, in order to obtain wine and oil with unique characteristics.The company is located in Belpasso,a small town on the slopes of Etna on the south side of the volcano, situated in the heart of eastern Sicily and within the DOC area.Tenuta Papale is a family story, everything started around the 1950's with grandfather and grandmother Papale selling their master wine from inside their own home.Over the years the cultivation of the vines and the olive trees have become a family tradition and still today is the pulsating heartbeat of our estate.Since 2014 the management of the company has been in the hands of Giuseppe who, together with his sister Maria Giovanna , represent the third generation of the family and the desire to make the territory and the beauty of its fruits known.Our clients are at the center of our company. We have always been committed in bringing the beauties and the warmth of our land to the tables with passion,love and respect for nature,values that guide our work daily.This surface is cultivated with vines of the Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio variety for the production of Etna Rosso DOC.Within the other vineyards we also cultivate Carricante variety for our Etna Bianco DOC, the Chardonnay and the Nero d'Avola, for the production of I.G.P wine.The vineyards and the olive groves belonging to the Sicilian biodiversity wind through 13 hectares and are divided between three districts:
